Farmers Markets
This is a great time of year to find a Farmers Market. Here in Richland county we are fortunate to have many that our free standing and open year round. It's tempting to think that prices are higher in these stores. I would challenge you to comparison shop. For example: Bannana's were 29 cents a lb at Waynes Market yesterday, if you bought single bananas. Yes they were turning softer, but I use them for Banana Bread so they are perfect. Unless the larger supermarket has a great produce deal, like 10/10 I buy almost all my produce from the local Farmers Market. Buying local is a great way to save gas, improve your local economy and find fresher food!!
